The past few days have been dry for the Fallen Chronicle, and that's not down to anyone but the players. Enough of the pouting and groaning about how the server isn't active. The server is well and good, the PEOPLE are the ones neglecting xDK and the administration's work.
If there is something other than the fact that there are no people on the Server that is hesitating you from getting on the server, then this is your chance to speak the hell up. I've been hearing all about how this server is dying, about how xDK isn't doing his job, about how the Staff don't do their job, about how there is nothing to do, and plenty other crap. No more of it, for god's sake.
xDK's job is to keep the server up and running. Is it not up and running, 24 blooming 7? Australians can play it and no-life Americans can play at the same time just as Americans and no-life Australians can play at the same time. He's still developing the server, which is another part of his job description. He's getting on and fixing the issues that are reported. As far as I'm concerned, he's doing his job and he's doing it damn well. The staff's job is to moderate and administrate and build. No moderation has been needed as of late because there's no one on the god damn servers. It's not their job to get new members often, it's their job to make sure it's running the way it is supposed to. As far as the inactive staff members, I do believe they should either be replaced or be rid of entirely.
Our job however? Our job is to enjoy the server and its purpose - to roleplay. It's difficult to do that however, if we do not have an influx of people there is no use to roleplay. There is no fun. Thus, we cannot enjoy the server, thus //WE// have to take action. (Keeping in mind real life comes before video games) Vote for the Server every day, keep the forums active, keep roleplaying, develop your characters, keep yourself busy, and the staff will bring you events to every once in a while spice things up. But to keep the server alive and well and functioning, we need to band together as the players, and keep the Fallen Chronicle active.
For the last time I want to hear "the server is dying" "i might leave soon" and other frank bullshit. It's our problem that there are so few on every day. If xDK and the staff see that there are people on, then they will get on, and they will be motivated as authorities to help us help the server. YOU, YOURSELF, DO NOT HAVE TO BE STAFF TO HELP THE SERVER OUT. JUST GETTING ON WILL DO US ALL A GOOD BIDDING.
