Out of Character
Minecraft IGN: Nazutlu
Age: I'm a Twenty.
How did you hear about us?:
I was looking on Planet Minecraft at the "Latest" section under Roleplay.
What made you want to join us?:
Nothing in particular, I have a few roleplay servers I frequent after losing my primary server last year. I'm hoping to find a new home but have been having some trouble finding a good one.
What is Roleplaying?:
Role Playing is just as the namesake implies Playing a Role. Even when you smile at the person you don't like in your workplace you are playing a role, Roleplay is just more deliberate and scripted.
What is Metagaming?:
Its using knowledge you as the player knows but your character has absolutely no way of knowing. Often someone with be Metagaming when trying to find someone elses location and cutting themselves short of RP involving asking individuals for directions.
What is Powergaming?:
In my experience so far with roleplay Powergaming is used to describe forcing an action or reaction on another player or character with or without their consent. The thing is even if the other person consents to it, would their character realistically consent to whatever it is? I feel like for the most part Powergaming is something friends often allow one another do when they shouldn't it encourages bad behavior and confuses onlookers sometimes.

Name:
Nazor Orgenfin
Age:
Twenty-Three
Gender:
Male
Origin: Cattagia
Biography:
I could tell you a story about how Nazor Orgenfin grew up in an abusive home, or how his entire family was killed by raiders, or demons or something. But that would be a lie.
He was born into a well of family, not overly so but enough that they never went hungry even once. His family consisted of two brothers and a sister, all older than him. Young Childhood was simple and full of playing until learning hit him, it was sudden and his father despite being a simple merchant of some sort wanted more for each of his children (And himself.) So down came the books one by one, jammed into Nazor's young mind as tightly packed as one would think possible, the reward? Writing, Reading, Trade, Proper Table Manners, Politic, you name it if it was useless outside of the gentry Nazor knew how to do it.
By his teenage years all this useless and unpractical knowledge was taxing on Nazor, something in him buckled under the pressure to succeed and he just... didn't. Trade or Political talks came around with friends of his fathers, and he couldn't bring himself to care or even pretend to care. When asked to read he could do so but chose not to for some reason, not even he could be quite sure why.
So as time often does it passed, and these offers and deals became fewer and far between. As he began to grow into a now skill less man not a single of his father's contacts wanted anything to do with him because of his lack of interest in their trades or crafts, so his father upset with him sent him to live with his uncle. Sure you could say this was a negative turn of events, but Nazor knew it was just because he didn't care.
Nazor had never met his uncle, and never really knew why. As he crossed the threshold of the old beaten up shack he suddenly realized why, his uncle was no Merchant, he was a grizzled old sea fearer who was retired now and only fished. Things seemed a little awkward the first few days, his uncle almost didn't speak ever, and only shoved a fishing net into his hands and grumbled as he stumbled out to the docks each morning. Nazor for the first few days just sat there holding the net, but as he realized it wouldn't get more interesting he gave it a toss into the water, he wasn't really interested and because of that just let it float there. His eyelids began to become heavy and as he was just about to take a little nap the rope attached to the net moved just a little, it surprised him and he jerked his arm as hard as he could, and thats when it happened.
A massive Halibut was in the net writhing desperately trying to get free, at the sight of it his uncle jumped up and grabbed another part of the cord holding the net, as the two men pulled the net tightened around the fish. With some effort on their parts the fish was pulled onto the dock where Nazor's Uncle smacked it with a club and it went still, it was then that his Uncle seemed to open up for the first time saying "Boy, I was waitin' fer ya ta catch a fish fer thre des. Na I can show ya why allatha trade mumbo jumbo makes yer eyes roll back in yer head." And so he did, he taught his nephew all about Net Fishing and explained to him that his family had all been great fisherman with any type of equipment until Nazor's Father.
Three weeks later, the two parted ways. His uncle told him it was his job to go out and catch the largest fish in some foreign land and make their name famous again among fishermen, and so he did. Thats the long winded story of how Nazor's Journey Began.
Nazor's Physical Appearance:
Hes 5' 2", brown hair cut short on one side, and auburnish eyes, If I had to tell you his quite its somewhere between Portly, and Muscular.
Nazor's Strengths and Weaknesses:
Well hes fairly kind hearted, but finds it difficult to find interest in anything overly related to paperwork or documentation. Hes pretty good at fishing and knows how to weave his own nets as a result of his time spent with his uncle. He is overly prideful of his families lineage as fisherman and will become infuriated if someone insults his profession. He has a small amount of skill with Archery, but that is simple due to having already built that muscle group, his aim is likely not great.
